From coast to coast with a few stops in between, NEP Services continued its hot start to the year with a busy May that saw the company at labor conferences, client events, and public safety gatherings throughout the country.
NEP kicked off the month with a trip to Long Island, New York, on May 7 to join scores of police officers and their families to pay tribute to 40 New York law enforcement officers who made the supreme sacrifice over the past three years. NEP gathered with those who braved the cold and driving rain to commemorate the officers and see their names enshrined on the New York State FOP Memorial Wall outside its headquarters in Hicksville.
At the same time, representatives from NEP made an appearance at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 40th Convention in Chicago. Proud members of CWA Local 9003, NEP showcased its proud history of providing labor organizations with the power they need to succeed.
“The members of organizations like IBEW are the foundation of our society and literally build our future,” said NEP President Stacey Yudin. “NEP is here to support their mission and help them continue to build their power as a labor force to be reckoned with throughout the country.”
A supporter of law enforcement since its inception more than 25 years ago, NEP’s representatives were also proud to attend 2022 National Police Week, which culminated with a candlelight vigil at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to pay tribute to those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Police Week also marked the first week the NEP team worked out of its new D.C. East Coast office.
Less than a week later, company representatives were back in NEP’s home state of California at the National Troopers Coalition 2022 Spring Conference. NEP Vice President Mark Treglio spoke at the conference and presented NEP's power building tools and resources, such as the Connect+ Mobile App.
Capping off an event-filled month, NEP released its prospectus, detailing the countless services the company has to offer to its members. From fundraising and web design, to media training and organizational management, NEP continues to grow as an organization that gives its clients the tools they need to build power in their arenas.
All of this adds to an already hot start to 2022 that saw NEP continue its rapid growth, which included its inaugural advanced communications training conference, Adapt or Die: Controlling the Narrative to Win the Hearts and Minds of Those We Serve, in March. The company’s next conference, We Need to Talk: A Serious Discussion on Behavioral Health Among Emergency Responders, is scheduled for November in Las Vegas and features Jocko Willink, former U.S. Navy Seal and CEO of Echelon Front, as its keynote speaker.
NEP Closed out May by announcing another big headliner, Dr. Matthew Walker, professor of neuroscience and psychology at the University of California Berkeley and world renowned expert on the science of sleep. Walker will be teaching his program, “Why We Need Sleep.”
