Mark Treglio, a fire fighter and longtime communications specialist within the labor movement, has been named the new executive vice president at NEP Services, a California based tech company specializing in web development, internal organizational communications and digital fundraising. With more than two decades in the fire service and labor movement, Treglio brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the NEP Team.
For the last seven years, Treglio has been in charge of Communications, Media & Strategic Campaigns for the International Association of Fire Fighters in Washington D.C. He was responsible for the creation of the elite Strategic Campaigns team, an innovative program that has saved the jobs and benefits of thousands of fire fighters across North America. He created the IAFF Communications Training Academy, the union’s most sought after training class, and has revolutionized how fire unions communicate through the use of social media, video and strategic planning. He also provided extensive contributions to enhance the IAFF’s disaster response program. “We are extremely excited to have Mark join our team,” said NEP CEO Drew Howitt. “His deep experience of the fire service and labor movement will be an asset to NEP and our customers. Mark understands the technological aspect of our core business, and most importantly, he knows how to put it all together for our clients to succeed.” Treglio will be based in Las Vegas, where in addition to overseeing NEP’s expansion in the fire service and new markets, he will lead the development of a training/events division and a charitable foundation to support fire fighters on the frontlines of the communities they serve.
“Incorporating Mark’s ability to work strategically to our existing technology is a game changer for our industry” states NEP President Stacey Yudin. “His experience will provide new tools for our clients and give them additional opportunities to grow their communications abilities.”
Treglio’s hiring is a part of a larger overall commitment by NEP to strengthen the fire service and labor movement by delivering state-of-the-art websites, organization management software, apps and excellent customer service to organizations looking to bolster their power and authority in their community.
Prior to joining the IAFF, Mark served as a Lieutenant for the Jacksonville (FL) Fire & Rescue Department.
